Hoe vaak denkt u ‘Mijn beelden brengen niet over hoe ik de vakantie heb ervaren’? Tijdens deze reis kunt u daar verandering in aanbrengen doordat Volskrant fotograaf Mike Roelofs u de Canadese wildernis leert zien en ervaren als fotograaf: niet alleen registreren maar vooral fotograferen! Met inspirerende workshops tijdens een avontuurlijke roadtrip in gezelschap van overweldigende natuur, scenery & wildlife, mensen en nederzettinkjes, leert u uw vakantiegevoel in beeld vast te leggen.
Een watervliegtuig brengt ons in British Columbia naar een uitdagend gebied van bergen, alpiene vlakten en meren. Dan op naar de Yukon’s Tombstone Mountains op de grens van toendra en taiga. Een weergaloos landschap gehuld in vlammende herfstkleuren én mogelijk flonkerend noorderlicht…

Well, we might just change that by combining Canada’s purest wilderness areas with the expertise of professional photographer Mike Roelofs. Envision a multi-faceted approach to photography as a means of not just registering but enhancing your experience. Inspiring workshops during an adventurous ‘roadtrip’ accompanied by overpowering nature, scenery & wildlife, people and remote settlements.
We fly to a high alpine tundra plateau, in the land of caribou, wolverine and subarctic flora. Then we find our way into the Yukon’s northern Tombstone Mountain range to reach places of stunning beauty. Here blazing fall colours clothe mountain passes and rivers in a land of star-studded skies and flashing northern lights.
RESILIENCE EXPO STRIJP-S EINDHOVEN

One of the last chances to see the complete RESILIENCE expo in the Netherlands. It will be presented by the Fotogalerie from FotoAcademie Eindhoven, Strijp-S. The opening, you’re more then welcome, will be Thursday December 22nd at 5 PM.

De Dom Utrecht Expo was a success!

During the Zilver Camera 2010 (De Zilveren Camera 2010) seminar night, prior to the awards night, I talked about the Resilience project. Me and Fanny where nominated with the Resilience project for the Canon Award 2010. During my talk I proudly presented our book, which is limited to 500 copies, and showed a short movie about the ’special’ 4 day limited launch expo in September 2010. Someone in the audience commented on that by asking why we present this story, which we clearly want to share with the world, in such limited ways. We explained that we had chosen a original launch approach and that the expo will travel throughout The Netherlands. Well.. herewith the results of De Dom Utrecht Expo. From 30/09/2011 till 31/10/2011 De Dom had 22,839 visitors. Most visitors have seen our project, as you can tell by viewing the see-through-copy of our book.

Wil graag meewerken aan:
- Het helpen opbouwen van een nieuw atelier op een TOP locatie in Eindhoven. Inrichten, promoten.
- Organisatie voor exposities.
- Promoten van projecten en een nieuw boek.
Enthousiasme + zelfstandig werken + communicatieve vaardigheden zijn een must! Je moet zowel technische kennis hebben als inhoudelijk kunnen meedenken met lopende projecten.
Je krijgt:
- Een werkplek in het atelier voor het uitwerken van eigen ontwikkeling.
- Begeleiding tijdens de stage.
- Praktijk ervaring, studio + op lokatie.
- Gebruik van studio + apparatuur.
